San Francesco alle Colombare church
The Church of San Francis is the parish church of the community of Colombare. Built in the shape of a tent, with stone walls and stained glass windows, it is situated in a raised position above street level.
It was built in the 1960s in accordance with the instructions of the Second Vatican Council regarding sacred buildings: the semicircular assembly and the floor slope towards the altar, which is made of millstone.
