Photographs that speak

The award ceremony is always an exciting moment. For the winners it is certainly a great satisfaction, for those who took part it is an interesting moment of confrontation and for everyone the desire to participate again is renewed, while enjoying a good show together, where the words announce the names but to speak are always and above all the photographs.

The award ceremony of the Sirmione Award for Photography 2022, which was held on Sunday 11 December at the Palazzo dei Congressi, was an opportunity to see the photographs that convinced the Jury, a beautiful party and a precious moment to share.

With the award ceremony, a season closes and a new one opens.
The call of the Sirmione Photo Residency 2023 has already been published and within a few weeks registrations will also be open for the other prizes of the XIV edition of the Sirmione Prize for Photography.

Due to an unforeseen event, the official photographer of the ceremony could not be present, fortunately, friends and participants contributed their images to compose this short gallery that tells some moments and some emotions of the award ceremony.
