On 19 August 1839, the technical details of the first photographic process perfected by Louis Daguerre were presented to the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Fine Arts in Paris.
Photography was officially born.
Today, photography is 182 years old and has been celebrated on World Photography Day since 2010.
To “celebrate” it in the best possible way, visit Magnun Photos International’s spectacular exhibition at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions dedicated to Maria Callas and Japan: “La Divina Emozione. Atto Primo. Maria Callas è Madama Butterfly”.
